Preppy Plaid and Oversized Glasses

In the world of fashion, geek is truly in. Unlike the classic geek style we know, however, this one says that smartly wearing a few key pieces from the geeky wardrobe is the way to go.

Upon scavenging the racks of a local thrift shop, I found this incredibly precious royal blue plaid number for only 25 pesos. I knew I had to get it.

Plaid has always given the preppy vibe and adding some oversized glasses and my school girl strap shoes to the look made it all the more geeky yet trendy appeal.

I also tried pulling it off with my trusty Toms. The look became a more laid-back and cool one, the very point of these comfy canvas shoes.
